A weather presenter burst into uncontrollable laughter during a live report on Sunday (23 August). A fit of giggles overcame WABI-TV meteorologist Patrick Osborn, who later revealed that the outburst was due to a prank that "kind of backfired." Osborn had to step off screen as he could not stop laughing, asking a colleague to take over. He later explained that he had been trying to prank anchor Josh Gabbard by playing a Charlie Brown "wa wa wa" sound during a commercial break, but the clip was longer than they expected and played during his segment, which set Osborn's giggles off.
