A person was taken to hospital after the air ambulance landed in Bishop Auckland.
The helicopter was seen landing in the County Durham town after 12.30pm on Wednesday (August 26).
A Great North Air Ambulance spokesperson said: "Our critical care team was activated at 12.33pm to reports of a medical incident in Bishop Auckland.
"We had a paramedic and doctor on board our aircraft and they arrived on scene at 12.43pm.
"Our team worked alongside NEAS to assess and treat a patient.
"The patient was taken to hospital by a NEAS road crew, accompanied by our team."
A North East Ambulance Service spokesperson said: "We were called to a medical incident at a private address in Bishop Auckland.
"We dispatched two ambulance crews and were supported by Great North Air Ambulance Service.
"One patient was taken to Darlington Memorial Hospital by road."
