The popular Rise cafe has announced the opening of its second site in York.
As previously reported, Rise York is set to open 'Mini Rise' in Museum Street, and now they’ve set a date - Friday, July 3.
The chain of brunch cafes took to social media yesterday (Friday) to describe the opening as a 'soft launch.'
The second venue at number 11 Museum Street is in the unit once occupied by Cocoa Joe’s, which closed last year.

This will be the fifth Rise in the chain, which also has branches in Preson and Liverpool, plus York's Fossgate, which opened in 2022.
That branch of Rise has gained a reputation as one of the best cafe's in York.
Google awards it 4.7 stars out of five, based on 940 reviews.
The most recent review awarded five stars and said: "Lovely breakfast and great atmosphere. Jake was awesome!"
TripAdvisor awards an even better 4.9 stars out of five, based on 985 reviews.
This ranked it fourth out of 800 York restaurants.
TripAdvisor's most recent review said Rise offered: "The best brunch in York."
It added: "Always sooo good! Rose was so friendly & attentive :)"
