York City will make the four-hour road trip to London tomorrow (Tuesday) to take on an in-form Barnet.
Dean Brennan’s men sit second in the table, have won three out of their last five games in the league and have only lost one game this season.
City, meanwhile, scored a home win against Port Vale on Saturday after three successive draws. They sit in fifth having only lost two games all season, only two points behind Barnet, but having played one more game.
The Bees’ star man is Kabongo Tshimanga who has nine goals to his name this season making him the league’s top goal scorer.
Tshimanga has also notched four assists in the league so far. The Minstermen’s Harry Boyes is leading the league in assists with six to his name.
York’s last visit to The Hive was in the National League, where Barnet managed to put three past a weaker City team.
Speaking about Barnet, Scott Lindsey said: “Good side, Good manager, got good players, high scoring team.
“We’ve got to be at our best to get anything from that game.”
Following the Barnet fixture, City’s next game is also away – to an 11th-placed Grimsby Town. That match is a lunchtime kick-off at 12.30pm on Saturday (31 October).
