ITV is changing the Emmerdale and Coronation Street TV schedules this week as the broadcaster is due to air a football match on Wednesday evening (October 28).
Whether it's football matches or award ceremonies, ITV regularly moves the soaps to accommodate other programmes.
This week, one of the Carabao Cup's fourth-round matches will disrupt the usual schedule - here's what we know about the changes in the coming days.
Emmerdale and Coronation Street soap schedules to be different this week
While Emmerdale and Coronation Street will mostly follow their usual schedules this week, Wednesday night is an exception.
Liverpool will play against Chelsea at Anfield, and coverage will begin on ITV1 at 7.30pm.
Kick-off is at 8pm, meaning the match will run across both the usual Emmerdale and Corrie slots, which are 8pm and 8.30pm respectively.
It's not yet clear if soap fans will get to watch an episode on Sunday to make up for the loss of Wednesday's.
How The Pride of Britain Awards affected soap schedules
The Pride of Britain Awards aired on ITV1 from 8pm on Thursday, October 22.
The annual awards ceremony celebrates the extraordinary acts of the British public.
The programme started at 8pm, meaning Emmerdale and Coronation Street couldn't air in the usual time slots.
However, on Sunday, an Emmerdale episode aired at 8pm and Coronation Street was on from 8.30pm to make up for Thursday night's missed episodes.
Coronation Street star confirms her own return to the ITV soap
Kelli Hollis, known for playing Paula in the popular soap, shared a video on Instagram earlier this month confirming to fans that she'd be back on the show.
The actress, who has also starred in Emmerdale and Shameless, promised not to reveal spoilers, but assured fans her character's stint on the show is "not going to be plain sailing".
Hollis captioned the video: "Paula's back on the cobbles next week!
"No spoilers... but trust me, it's not going to be plain sailing.
"Tune in to find out."
In the video, she said: "I've got a Coronation Street update for you, but this time it's about me because yes, I'm back.
"Obviously I couldn't say anything."
She reminded fans of Corrie that she appeared in the soap at the start of this year when her character was in prison.
ITV declined to comment.
