A teenager was arrested after a police car knocked him off his motorbike in County Durham.
Officers spotted him riding illegally through Dean Bank, Ferryhill, last Tuesday afternoon.
The balaclava-wearing rider tried to escape, but the police car knocked him off his bike.
He was arrested on suspicion of driving without a licence or insurance and drug-driving.
Later that day, police in Darlington received reports of two teenagers riding a suspected stolen motorbike and carrying a screwdriver.

Response officers identified the riders and saw them enter the Five Arches footpath, sparking a chase on foot.
Officers found the stolen motorbike hidden in nearby bushes, along with one boy’s mobile phone.
The phone contained photos of other stolen vehicles, including the motorbike they had been riding.
Both 15-year-olds were arrested and found to be wanted over a burglary.
The recovered motorbike will be returned to its owner.
