The finalists for The Northern Echo's Best Curry House 2026 competition have been revealed, from family-run favourites to award-winning restaurants.
Restaurants from Darlington, Newton Aycliffe, Spennymoor and Crook make up the final ten, while reigning champion Babul's is chasing a third straight title after winning in 2024 and 2025.
Earlier this month, readers were invited to nominate their favourite curry houses from across the region.

"Curry houses are loved across the country, from quiet meals to big celebrations with friends and family, and we want to celebrate the people behind them.
