Little Bird Made markets return to Harrogate Valley Gardens and Knaresborough Castle

Little Bird Made will hold markets at Knaresborough Castle and Harrogate Valley Gardens over the weekend of 31 October and 1 November.

The market at Knaresborough Castle on Saturday, 31 October, from 10am to 3pm, will be the organiser’s final outdoor event at the site for 2026. Markets are expected to return there in spring 2027.

Stalls will feature independent makers, handmade crafts, seasonal goods and street food.

On Sunday, 1 November, Little Bird Made will return to Harrogate’s Valley Gardens, with stalls selling jewellery, art, homeware and local produce, alongside food and drink.

Jackie Crozier, founder and managing director of Little Bird Made, said:

We’ve had an incredible season at Knaresborough Castle, and ending our outdoor run there on Halloween Saturday feels like a wonderful way to end our 2026 trading season. Heading to Harrogate Valley Gardens on Sunday gives us a great momentum shift as we welcome November. It is a fantastic opportunity for our visitors to get a head start on early festive shopping while directly supporting Yorkshire’s talented independent traders.

Barney’s Farmhouse Foods will trade at both events, selling homemade bakes and preserves, including Halloween-themed treats at Knaresborough Castle.

Anne Barningham, owner of Barney’s Farmhouse Foods, said:

We always look forward to trading at Little Bird Made events, and this weekend is particularly special as we move between two fantastic North Yorkshire locations. We’ll be bringing a full stock of our homemade bakes and preserves – with extra spooky treats for Halloween – to Knaresborough Castle on Saturday, and then heading to Harrogate’s Valley Gardens on Sunday. It’s a wonderful time of year for local food producers, and we can’t wait to see both our regular customers and new faces stocking up for the season ahead.

Both markets are free to attend, dog-friendly and open from 10am to 3pm.
