AN international best-selling author is to return to North Yorkshire next month.
Kemps are delighted to welcome back to Malton the co-author of the best-selling Seven Sisters series, Harry Whittaker.
Now based in Yorkshire, Harry Whittaker is a storyteller and award-winning radio presenter who, following the death of his mother, Lucinda Riley, in 2021, pledged to complete one of her most revered works.
Step back into the world of Lucinda Riley’s much-loved Seven Sisters series with an engaging new mystery, as familiar faces discover how their lives unfolded after the events of Atlas: The Story of Pa Salt.
First introduced in The Shadow Sister, reader-favourite antiquarian bookseller Orlando Forbes must search for the truth about a forgotten Victorian author; however, the unresolved mystery begins to echo the troubles in his own life.
Orlando’s story is a sweeping dual-timeline tale of hidden manuscripts, buried betrayals, and long-held secrets.
Liz Kemp, owner of Kemps, said: “We simply cannot wait to welcome Harry Whittaker to Kemps General Store!
“We thought we’d said goodbye to the wonderful world of Lucinda Riley’s Seven Sisters, so what a treat to be stepping back into it with Orlando and with a little Christmas magic thrown in too!
“It’s going to be a really special evening for everyone who loves these books.”
Be one of the first to discover the next unforgettable chapter in the world of The Seven Sisters when Harry joins Kemps in St. Michael’s Church on Saturday 7th November, for an evening celebrating a renowned series and how Harry is continuing his mother’s legacy.
The event commences at 7:30 pm.
Tickets are only £8 per person or £25 to purchase the book alongside a ticket.
