Waitrose has been forced to apologise after making an error on its website with one of its new Christmas products.
The major UK supermarket chain launched its No.1 Yule Log Sausage Roll (0.85kg) in 2025 as part of its Christmas range.
Describing the festive product, the Waitrose website reads: "A sharing sausage roll, perfect for festive buffets.
"The succulent pork, turkey, ham and chestnut filling is made with rich pork stock and seasoned with sage, pepper, rosemary and thyme, and it's all wrapped up in crisp pastry."

Waitrose "very sorry" for online error with Yule Log Sausage Roll
The Yule Log Sausage Roll has returned in 2026, once again part of Waitrose's festive offerings.
However, Waitrose has been forced to apologise after the wrong image was displayed on its website.
A Waitrose spokesperson said: "Yule never believe the pastry pickle we got ourselves into.
"Giddy with excitement about the upcoming festivities, we mixed up our Logs with our Wreaths, and while we may have been a bit flaky about the product image, the sausage inside is the same outdoor-reared British pork.
“Our customer care team has contacted everyone impacted to prevent anyone getting tied up in knots - we’re very sorry for any inconvenience caused.”
The correct image of the Yule Log Sausage Roll has now been added to the Waitrose website.
