A young County Durham man has been handed a suspended jail sentence after breaching a community order linked to offences including carrying a knuckle duster and possessing cocaine.
Aiden Curtis, 19, of Thames Crescent, Stanley, admitted breaching the order at Newton Aycliffe Magistrates' Court on October 20.
The original order was imposed on July 7 after offences including possessing a knuckle duster in public, aggravated vehicle-taking that damaged property, possessing cocaine and failing to surrender to bail.
Curtis missed an appointment and failed to explain his absence, so the court revoked his community order.

The court gave him a 26-week prison sentence, suspended for 18 months, and ordered him to complete 150 hours of unpaid work.
The court imposed no separate penalties for the aggravated vehicle-taking, cocaine possession or bail offence.
The sentence covered his breach of the order and the original offences.
