Patrick Rybar, 24, is due to appear at Leeds Crown Court

A rape suspect accused of attacking a woman at Pudsey Bus Station will face Leeds Crown Court next month.

Patrick Rybar, 24, of no fixed address in Leeds, appeared before Leeds Magistrates’ Court yesterday (Friday, October 23). He is charged with two counts of rape, one count of sexual assault by penetration and two counts of sexual assault.

The charges follow what West Yorkshire Police described as a serious sexual assault on a woman at Pudsey Bus Station on the evening of Tuesday, October 20.

Rybar was remanded in custody and is next due to appear at Leeds Crown Court on November 26.

The woman is being supported by specially trained officers, and Leeds CID’s enquiries into the incident are continuing.
