York Cocktail Week returns with £5 drinks and deals at 21 venues across city

York Cocktail Week is returning to 21 venues across the city starting next month.

York is raising a glass once again as its Cocktail Week returns for another round of celebrations next month.

Running from November 6 to 15, the event will see 21 bars and restaurants across the city serve up signature cocktails, food offers and new discoveries.

Cocktail fans can enjoy specially created drinks priced between £5 and £7 by purchasing a wristband.

Alice Christison, founder of Cocktail Week and director of M.ad Agency, said: "York’s hospitality scene is something the city should be proud of, and Cocktail Week gives everyone a reason to enjoy it.

"Whether you’ve lived here all your life or you’re visiting for the weekend, there’s always another great venue to discover or a favourite worth returning to."

The April edition of the event generated a reported economic impact of £680,400, with attendees spending an average of £130 across eight venues during three days.

Wristband holders can also access food deals, including 30 per cent off food at ASK Italian, 20 per cent off food at The Whippet Inn and Slug & Lettuce Swinegate, and a £12 pizza-and-pint offer at Northern Monk Refectory (Monday to Friday, 12pm to 5pm).

Participating venues this November include DumDum Tiki Bar, The Whippet Inn and more.
