CAMPAIGNERS are demanding the closure of a controversial intelligence facility.
The protest, organised by the Campaign for Nuclear Disarmament (CND), Yorkshire CND, and the Menwith Hill Accountability Campaign, will take place on Saturday, October 24, at RAF Menwith Hill in Yorkshire, the largest US spy base outside the United States.
Sophie Bolt, general secretary of CND, said: "This protest comes at an absolutely critical time.
"The threats of nuclear weapons being used in war has never been higher.
"The use of RAF Menwith Hill to help the Trump administration achieve nuclear pre-eminence is a very dangerous development, which is driving a new nuclear arms race."
Campaigners claim the base has been used to "assist with US illegal military operations on Iran" and provides intelligence to help the Israeli Defence Forces "target their attacks in Gaza."
They argue that data gathered at the base enables "war crimes".
Louise Regan, chair of the Palestine Solidarity Campaign, said: "There is overwhelming evidence to suggest that RAF Menwith has been used to provide intelligence to the Israeli Defence Force (IDF), and therefore to help target their attacks in Gaza."
A rally will be held at 3pm at RAF Menwith Hill.
Earlier in the day, a public meeting will take place at the Friend’s Meeting House in Harrogate.
