A major new multi-zone activity centre has opened to the public, offering fresh ways to get active and have fun.
The revamped attraction at Newcastle Trampoline Park and Gym launched on Friday, October 23, following an investment of more than £400,000 by GLL, the charitable social enterprise that operates the centre under the Better brand.
Designed to appeal to children, young people and families, the new facility includes a strike arena play structure, an obstacle course with interactive challenges, a trampoline zone with interconnecting trampolines, and an interactive football pitch.
The centre’s popular Air Bag remains, now enhanced with a new jump tower and slide.

Accessible from 18 months and up, the new zones require adult supervision for children under eight.
The upgraded site also features an online safety briefing video to reduce waiting times on arrival.
Weekly programmed sessions include parent and toddler activities and SEND sessions.
The facility is available for birthday party bookings for children aged five to 15.
Party packages include 60 minutes of activity followed by a two-course meal in a dedicated party room, and are available from 10am to 4pm on Saturdays and Sundays.

The new activity zone complements the existing monster-themed soft play area for children aged 10 and under.
Alison Westworth, partnership manager for Newcastle at GLL, said: "This significant investment reflects our long-term commitment to providing high-quality leisure facilities that meet the changing needs and expectations of our customers.
"We’re confident the improvements will strengthen the centre’s appeal and provide a strong foundation for its continued success.
"We know our visitors will be eager to see the transformation and we’re looking forward to welcoming families to the new leisure facility."
