A man has been arrested on suspicion of indecent exposure at Strathclyde Country Park.

Around 8pm on Tuesday, October 6, police said a man was seen carrying out an indecent act in a wooded area near playing fields near to the Raith Interchange entrance to the park.

On Friday, October 23, police said a 62-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the alleged incident and enquiries are ongoing.

Police are now appealing for anyone with any information to come forward if they have not already spoken to police.

They are particularly keen to trace two men walking in the park and a group of joggers, possibly a running club, who were in the area around the time.

“Any information, no matter how small it may seem, could assist our investigation. Please think back – did you see anyone acting strangely around this time? If so, please get in touch.

“We are also asking anyone driving in the area with dash-cams, to please check the footage for anything which may be relevant.

“Information can be passed to us by calling 101, quoting incident 3339 of Tuesday, 6 October, 2026, or by approaching any of our officers out on patrol.”
