One of the men who was convicted of killing a Bradford police officer has been handed a second life sentence.
Faisal Razzaq, who was jailed for his part in the robbery that led to the killing of police officer Sharon Beshenivsky in Bradford in 2005, has now been sentenced again after police uncovered his involvement in a firearms conspiracy.
Previous conviction
Razzaq was originally convicted of manslaughter in 2006 and served more than a decade in prison before being released on parole in 2017.
He had been the getaway driver in the botched robbery that resulted in the fatal shooting of Pc Beshenivsky, who was killed while responding to an armed raid at Universal Express travel agents on November 18, 2005.
The officer was shot and killed on her daughter’s fourth birthday.

Her death remains one of the most high-profile cases of police officers killed in the line of duty in recent British history.
After his release, Razzaq moved to Edgware, north London, where he ran a luxury car hire business.
'Guns are a modern plague on our streets'
But behind the scenes, he was involved in sourcing and supplying firearms to criminal gangs.

On Thursday, Harrow Crown Court sentenced him to life in prison with a minimum term of eight years.
Judge Hannah Kinch said: "Criminals use guns to terrorise others.
"Guns kill, they maim, they devastate the lives of their victims.
"It is no exaggeration to say that guns are a modern plague on our streets.
"It is for that reason that when such offences come before the courts, they will be met with serious sentences."
'Central role' in firearms plot
Razzaq, now 45, had pleaded guilty to conspiracy to sell or transfer banned guns, possession of a firearm and ammunition with intent to endanger life and two counts of possessing a firearm and ammunition when banned.
The court heard that Razzaq played a "central role" in the conspiracy, working with co-defendants Robert and Ricky Dorey to supply weapons to gangs across London.
The Dorey brothers supplied the guns to Razzaq, who then sold them to other criminals.
Razzaq also recruited Abdul Saleh to assist in the operation.
In August 2024, the group was involved in the sale of 10 revolvers.

Secret recordings exposed conspiracy
Police uncovered the conspiracy after placing a covert recording device in Razzaq’s car.
Recorded conversations revealed chilling discussions about selling firearms and ammunition.
On August 22, Razzaq was heard telling Saleh that if police tried to arrest him, he should not hesitate to open fire.
Razzaq said: "Feds try and grab you just shoot at the car, shoot in the air.
"I don’t care where you shoot but you’ve got to shoot bro."
He also made clear he had no moral concerns about the trade.
Razzaq said: "I’ll sell it to anyone I don’t give a f*** bro.
"We’re businessmen Harry, (a nickname for Saleh) we don’t care."
Between August 27 and September 1, the Dorey brothers and Razzaq were recorded discussing further firearm deals.
On September 2, police searched Razzaq’s home on Buckingham Road and found a pistol and eight rounds of ammunition hidden in a bag at the bottom of a makeshift wardrobe.
Some of the weapons linked to Razzaq were traced to criminal Thomas McKenna, who was jailed in February for converting blank-firing guns into lethal weapons.
Sentences were also handed down to others involved in the conspiracy.
