York went hot chocolate crazy today!
Chocolate cafe chain Knoops have been giving away free hot chocolates since midday today (Wednesday 21 October) – and the city jumped at the chance to get in line.
Hot chocolate-lovers simply had to order via the Knoops app to claim their free sweet drink.
The options were either a small 34% (milk choc) or small 54% (dark choc) hot chocolate, with either whole, oat, or soya milk.
The hot chocolate would usually cost £3.95.
Once you ordered through the app, it was a case of turning up at Knoops for your freebie – and people were queuing down Parliament Street today to pick up theirs.
Knoops stores across the UK are taking part in the one-day promotion.
Knoops opened in York in 2024.
