Canadian rock duo Angine de Poitrine are set to perform at The Piece Hall in Halifax as part of their 2027 world tour.

They will take the stage on June 24 as part of their Concerts De Musique 2027 tour, marking one of only three UK dates.

Nicky Chance-Thompson MBE DL FRSA, CEO of The Piece Hall Charitable Trust, said: "Just as The Piece Hall is a place for everyone, we strive to programme a really diverse summer series and this booking puts us right on the cutting edge of culture.

"The band’s quirky look has captured the headlines, but it's their phenomenal musicianship that has captured hearts.

"Our unique venue is the perfect site for this completely unique band.

"This will be a very special show indeed."

Known for their high-energy alt-indie rock, the duo has earned viral fame with a KEXP live session that has now surpassed 20 million views.

Their second album, Volume 2, was released earlier this year and is described as a high-voltage blend of acid techno, disco, and rock.

The Halifax concert is part of the Live at The Piece Hall 2027 series, which will also feature Kraftwerk, Pete Tong Ibiza Classics, Suki Waterhouse, Rudimental, Bananarama, and more.
