Businesswoman Rachel Beck, founder of women's health brand Vigor Vitamins, has been shortlisted for three national business awards.

The news comes just weeks after Vigor won Sustainable Business of the Year at the Keighley and Airedale Business Awards.

Rachel, who grew up in Steeton and who runs the business from Cowling, is a finalist for Start-Up Business Woman of the Year and Health and Wellbeing Business Woman of the Year at The UK Women's Business Awards 2026.

She is also a finalist for Female Entrepreneur of the Year at The UK Small Business Awards 2026.

Rachel launched Vigor Vitamins in 2024 with no outside funding.

After her 40th birthday, she started paying closer attention to her own health, and grew frustrated with a supplement industry full of what she describes as "big claims, unnecessary ingredients and very little honest support for women going through hormonal changes."

Vigor makes simple, high-quality supplements for women in midlife, with no fillers and no miracle promises.

The range is UK made, and the multivitamin comes in a refillable Biophotonic Glass bottle.

In under two years the business has grown to more than 50 independent stockists, mostly clinics, aestheticians, beauticians and gyms.

Every one of them came through word of mouth and local networking rather than cold selling.

Rachel also co-founded Thrive Circle, a monthly networking community for women in business.

Rachel said: "I didn't set out to start a supplement company.

"I started Vigor because I knew something wasn't right, and I knew I couldn't be the only woman feeling that way.

"To be shortlisted alongside so many brilliant women from across the UK is a real pinch me moment for a small, self-funded business from Yorkshire.

Every customer, stockist and woman at Thrive Circle who has backed us along the way is part of this."

Both ceremonies take place at The Eastside Rooms in Birmingham, with The UK Women's Business Awards on December 18, 2026, when the National Top 10 will be revealed live on stage, followed by The UK Small Business Awards on December 19, 2026.
