Police have made their 100th arrest using live facial recognition technology.
The milestone arrest was reached in Bradford when a man was stopped on suspicion of vehicle theft.
Live facial recognition (LFR) was introduced in West Yorkshire to help identify wanted offenders, locate vulnerable people and support investigations into serious crime.
The system scans faces against a watchlist, and images that do not match are automatically deleted.
Inspector Mathew Tunney said: "Reaching 100 arrests is a significant milestone and demonstrates the valuable role Live Facial Recognition is playing in helping us keep communities safe.
"Used in a targeted, intelligence-led and proportionate way, the technology helps us locate wanted offenders more quickly, protect vulnerable people and support victims of crime."
