A Scottish design and construction company has been placed into liquidation.
It comes after HMRC court action against the Glasgow company.
Maxwells (Scotland) Limited was the subject of a petition from His Majesty's Revenue and Customs to Airdrie Sheriff Court for the firm to be wound up by the court and a liquidator appointed.
Now, Steven Wright, of Dains, has been appointed interim liquidator to the Chryston-registered company.
Its most recent available accounts showed liabilities totalling £182,000.

Michelle Elliot, restructuring advisory partner at FRP, said: “Financial pressures are beginning to catch up with businesses that have spent months fighting to protect their bottom lines.
"Higher operating costs, squeezed margins and unpredictable demand have left some firms with little financial headroom."

She added: "Against this backdrop, even a relatively small setback can be enough to push an already vulnerable business into difficulty.
“In the lead up to the Autumn Budget, firms will want to come away with greater certainty around the economic outlook and the cost of doing business."
The number of registered company insolvencies in England and Wales was 1,882 in September, 4% lower than in August 2026 (1,953) and 5% lower than the same month in the previous year, when it was 1,973.
This was made up of 341 compulsory liquidations, 1,420 creditors’ voluntary liquidations, 102 administrations and 19 company voluntary arrangements.
Sonia Jordan, a restructuring and insolvency partner at Knights and president of industry body R3, said: “While this suggests the overall picture remains relatively stable, businesses continue to face a range of financial pressures including high energy costs, increased employment costs, expensive borrowing and cautious consumer demand.
"Inevitably, these pressures become too much for some companies, as reflected in today’s figures."
