A concert by the All Together Now Choir has raised £1,200 for charity.
A total of 80 members of the group entertained the audience at St Luke's Church, East Morton, on Saturday, October 17, with a performance including hits like "Spirit in the Sky," Cian Ducrot's "I'll Be Waiting," and a tribute to Dolly Parton.
The funds raised from the event will be donated to two causes: St Luke's Community Spirit and the Bradford Baby Bank, which is one of the choir's chosen charities for the year.
Stella Isaac, representing the church and a member of the choir, announced the amount raised.
Audience members praised the concert, highlighting the excellent venue acoustics and the variety of songs.
Choir members also expressed joy, describing the evening as "fabulous from start to finish" and expressing pride at being part of the group.
Chris Kemp, the musical director, was recognised for his continuing support and leadership.
Vicki, chair of the Baby Bank, described the concert as the most uplifting she had attended.
The All Together Now Choir has a series of Christmas events planned, including two performances in November, one at Ripon Cathedral and another at Baildon Market.
