TV fans make Lisa Riley demand after Angry Ginge in hysterics over savage dig

Lisa Riley and Angry Ginge's football rivalry has sent fans into hysterics

Our favourite jungle besties have reunited, but Lisa Riley and Angry Ginge's latest outing has proved their friendship can survive almost anything, except a football result.

The Emmerdale star and the social media sensation have sent fans into hysterics after Lisa shared a hilarious video of the pair at the Leeds United and Manchester United match at the weekend. With Lisa proudly supporting her beloved Leeds and Ginge firmly in the Manchester United camp, it was never going to be a peaceful afternoon for the unlikely duo.

In the hilarious Instagram video, Lisa and Ginge can be seen sitting separately inside a food place, with the Leeds lass apparently deciding it was the perfect opportunity to give her pal a piece of her mind. Not one to hold back, Lisa can be heard shouting at Ginge: "What the f*** are you scum sitting in here for", while the Manchester United fan can barely contain himself, laughing his head off at her antics. Ginge simply declares: "She's unreal."

Sharing the clip with her followers, Lisa revealed she had even attempted to teach Ginge the Leeds chant, despite his allegiance lying firmly elsewhere. Lisa wrote: "When I bring my bestie @angryginge13 to @leedsunited and he’s the BIGGEST @manutd fan I thought I should teach him our chant to him hilarious!!!! We will take the point 1-1 and we are still above them #leedsunited #football #today #live #premierleague @premierleague"

And while the pair may have been divided by their football loyalties, Lisa appeared more than happy with the result, pointing out that Leeds were still above Manchester United in the table. The video has sparked calls for Lisa Riley and Angry Ginge to team up for their own television show, with viewers convinced their banter is too good to waste.

One fan, commenting on Lisa's northern accent, wrote: "Northern accent just makes everything sound better", another fan commented: "These two need their own show together, they’re hilarious"

A third added: "Need a show together would be hilarious and if you have one and I’ve missed it where is it lol." One viewer declared: "The duo you never knew you needed", and another fan summed up their reaction with: "HOWLING." One amused follower questioned their seating arrangements, writing: "Why are you sitting separately if you took him?!"

The comments show just how much people love seeing the pair together, with a podcast, television series or even a regular online show seemingly top of the wish list. The hilarious football showdown is just the latest chapter in Lisa and Ginge's unexpected friendship, which blossomed when they appeared together on ITV's I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! in 2025.

Despite coming from different worlds, the pair quickly struck up a bond in the jungle, with Lisa taking on something of an auntie role while Ginge became her cheeky, mischievous nephew.

Lisa has previously described the pair as inseparable, revealing in February that she had become his jungle auntie and that working together on another project was inevitable. Their relationship has been packed with teasing, laughter and pranks, including the jungle antics that saw Lisa and Ruby Wax team up to fill Ginge's rucksack with rocks, leaving him to discover the prank for himself.

And the mischief did not end when the cameras stopped rolling. The pair reunited for a livestream after leaving the jungle, giving fans another glimpse of their easygoing banter and the friendship that had developed during their time on the show.

Ginge, whose real name is Morgan Burtwistle, went on to win the series, but it seems he gained something else along the way - a very vocal Leeds United supporter who is more than happy to keep him in check. Whether they are winding each other up, pulling pranks or arguing over football, Lisa and Ginge have quickly become one of those celebrity pairings fans cannot get enough of.

Their latest video proves that their differences are very much part of the appeal, with Lisa's Yorkshire passion and Ginge's Manchester United loyalty providing the perfect ingredients for more comedy gold.
