A Yorkshire brewery has launched a limited-edition beer in honour of the Armed Forces.
T&R Theakston, based in Masham, North Yorkshire, created the 3.9 per cent ABV British bitter for the Remembrance period, with all profits from cask sales donated to the Armed Forces Benevolent Fund.
The beer - called Stand Fast - sold out within 24 hours of release.
Will Theakston, sales manager and sixth-generation family member at the brewery, who served as a captain in the Queen’s Royal Lancers, said: "Remembrance is something that means a great deal to me personally, but Stand Fast is about more than remembering.
"The beer looks to recognise the commitment and sacrifice of those who have served, those who continue to serve, and the families and communities who stand behind them."
Stand Fast is brewed using ale and crystal malts, wheat, and caramel, and is hopped with Challenger, Goldings, and Target varieties to deliver a balanced, full-flavoured pint.
The beer's name is taken from a long-held military expression and is intended to reflect the values of resilience and comradeship.
The launch comes as Theakston prepares to celebrate its 200th anniversary in 2027, marking nearly two centuries of brewing.
