A North East pub will reopen to customers later this month after two years.
The Cambridge Hotel on Cambridge Road, Middlesbrough, will welcome back punters on Tuesday, October 27, after a long closure.
Owned by Sam Smiths, the pub closed in October 2024 after having no landlord or landlady to run it.
But now, two years later, a major makeover at The Cambridge Hotel has taken place - and soon it will reopen to the public.
A spokesperson for the pub said: "We're delighted to announce that the Cambridge Hotel, Middlesbrough, will officially reopen its doors on Tuesday, October 27.
"After a period of closure, we're looking forward to bringing this traditional Samuel Smith's pub back into the heart of the local community.
"We've been working hard behind the scenes to get everything ready, and we're excited to finally be able to share our reopening date with you."
The pub said that it would be serving Samuel Smith's beers, ales and other drinks and would reopen its main bar and games room first.
It also hinted at introducing food and hotel accommodation in the future through other phases of reopening.
