A woman has been found guilty of taking part in a group assault on a man held captive in her County Durham home.
But two men who admitted stabbing the victim in the legs have been cleared of also raping him during the ordeal, on April 18.
After the verdicts at Teesside Crown Court on Friday (October 16), Claire Dowson, Michael Boslem and John Hyde will be assessed for the danger they pose to the public before being sentenced in December.
Dowson, 52, of Holly Park, Ushaw Moor, denied wounding the victim with intent and stealing his jewellery, mobile phone and bank cards.
Verdicts have been delivered at Teesside Crown Court in the trial of four people alleged to have been involved in a group attack at the home of one of the defendants', in Ushaw Moor, County Durham, in April
The jewellery included a pendant containing his grandmother’s ashes, the court heard.
On the ninth day of the trial, the jury found Dowson guilty of wounding with intent and theft.
Boslem, 36, of Skippers Meadow, Ushaw Moor, was accused of raping the man, while 44-year-old Hyde, of no fixed abode, was alleged to have held him down.
Both were cleared of rape but had already admitted wounding the victim with intent.
Boslem had already admitted theft, while Hyde, who denied the charge, was also convicted of stealing the items from the victim.
Jurors heard that the victim, who cannot be named for legal reasons, was held captive at the Holly Park property before being thrown out after the attack.
He later told police he feared he would die during the ordeal, the court heard.
The jury had been told that Dowson and Hyde chose not to give evidence in their defence.
A fourth defendant, Gemma Watson, 48, of Bay Court, Ushaw Moor, was cleared of possessing a bladed article, having allegedly displayed a knife in her waistband before the victim arrived at Dowson's home.
Once he entered the prosecution alleged Dowson inflicted the first stab wound and urged Boslem and Hyde to join the attack.
After the verdicts, Judge Francis Laird KC asked the Probation Service to prepare reports on Dowson, Boslem and Hyde, including assessments of the danger each poses to the public.
He remanded all three in custody until their sentencing hearing on Monday, December 7.
