DalesBus winter timetables bring seasonal changes to Harrogate routes

Winter timetables are being introduced on the DalesBus weekend network as the clocks go back this weekend, with some services continuing throughout the winter and changes to routes and connections.

DalesBus 74 will continue to run every Saturday between Knaresborough, Harrogate, Ilkley, Bolton Abbey and Grassington.

Operated by York & Country, the service leaves Knaresborough Bus Station at 8.55am and Harrogate Bus Station at 9.20am. Return departures are at 5pm from Grassington, 5.28pm from Bolton Abbey and 5.50pm from Ilkley.

The Saturday DalesBus 59 service between Harrogate and Skipton will also continue, serving Blubberhouses and Bolton Bridge.

Departures from Harrogate are at 9.35am, 11.50am, 2.45pm and 4.45pm, with return journeys from Skipton at 10.45am, 12.50pm, 3.45pm and 5.45pm.

The route will now serve Jennyfield, travelling along Harewood Road on journeys towards Skipton and Crowberry Drive on journeys towards Harrogate.

Service 24 between Harrogate and Pateley Bridge will continue to operate seven days a week throughout the year, with no changes to its timetable. However, the connecting Sunday DalesBus services from Pateley Bridge to Grassington and Upper Nidderdale have now finished for the winter.

Fares and timetable information

The maximum single fare on these services remains £3, while under-19s can travel for £1. Elderly and disabled concessionary bus passes are also accepted.

Full timetables are available at dalesbus.org. A new winter edition of the Days Out by Bus from Harrogate leaflet is also available from Harrogate Bus Station and other local outlets.
