ART is heading outdoors in a new celebration of creativity and nature.
A three-month Artists in Nature residency programme, delivered by Bradford Culture Company, will be showcased through a series of public events from October 24 to November 1.
The Bradford Culture Company is the charity behind Bradford’s year as the 2025 UK City of Culture.
Jenny Harris, director of programme at Bradford Culture Company, said: "Bradford is home to extraordinary natural spaces, and this autumn we're inviting people to experience them through the eyes of artists, makers and performers."
Events will take place across the Bradford Pennine Gateway National Nature Reserve and will include live music, a photography exhibition, poetry, play readings, audio experiences, land art, and stained glass workshops.
The programme aims to encourage communities to experience culture beyond traditional venues by exploring moorland and countryside.
Councillor Andrew Judson, Bradford Council’s executive member for regeneration, planning and transport, said: "It is fantastic to see the legacy of Bradford’s year as UK City of Culture continuing through a programme that brings culture and nature together in such an engaging way."
The Artists in Nature programme is produced by Bradford Culture Company and supported by The National Lottery Heritage Fund.
