A CHARITY golf day has raised more than £9,000 for life-saving emergency care.

The event, organised by accountants and business advisers Azets, supported Yorkshire Air Ambulance and took place at Sandburn Hall in Flaxton.

Chris Blackburn from Azets said: "Many thanks to everyone who took part and helped raise such an incredible amount of money.

"The amazing work of those in our team who organised the event and assisted on the day also deserves recognition and reflects just how committed our people are to where they live and work."

This year’s event was the fourth annual charity golf day hosted by Azets, which has offices on Grammar School Street in Bradford.

It forms part of the firm’s ongoing fundraising efforts for Yorkshire Air Ambulance, its chosen charity partner for 2026.

Tessa Klemz, regional fundraising manager for North and East Yorkshire at Yorkshire Air Ambulance, said: "We are incredibly grateful to everyone at Azets and all those who took part in this year’s charity golf day.

"Raising more than £9,000 from one event is a fantastic achievement and will make a real difference to our work across Yorkshire."

Since launching the event in 2023, Azets has raised more than £35,000 for the charity.
