A historic pub overlooking one of Northumberland's best-known fishing villages can count actor Robson Green among its famous fans.
The Black Swan Inn sits on Union Street in Seahouses, close to the harbour and the spectacular Northumberland coastline.
Today it describes itself as an upmarket gastropub, but behind the stylish interior is a building with a much longer history.
And the pub has a connection to one of the North East's most recognisable television stars, with ChronicleLive reporting that Robson Green named the Black Swan as a favourite.
It is perhaps unsurprising that the Grantchester star should have a soft spot for this corner of the region.
Green, who was born in Hexham, has repeatedly spoken about his affection for the Northumberland coast.
During his BBC series Robson Green's Weekend Escapes, he described the coastline as his "most favourite place in the world" while revisiting Bamburgh and Seahouses.

One of Seahouses' historic pubs
The Black Swan describes itself as Seahouses' oldest purpose-built pub and occupies a prominent spot at 2 Union Street in the coastal village.
Its appearance today, however, is the result of a major transformation.
In 2022, the pub underwent work costing more than £400,000 after its doors had last closed in December 2019.
The major makeover was initially delayed by the Covid-19 pandemic before the venue returned as an upmarket gastropub and cocktail bar.
North Coast Collective, which also owns The Craster Arms in nearby Beadnell, took on the venue and set about giving it a markedly different feel while retaining links to its past.
Original features were retained and maritime touches incorporated into the refurbished building in a nod to the heritage of Seahouses.
The owners now describe the work as a half-a-million-pound "sympathetic renovation and restoration".
Seafood at the heart of the Black Swan
The pub's coastal location plays a major part in its food offering.
The Black Swan says it uses ingredients sourced locally from fishermen and butchers.
It is split into several distinct areas, including its traditional bar, restaurant, orangery and outdoor Black Yard Courtyard.
It is also dog-friendly, according to the venue's website, making it an option for visitors exploring the Northumberland coast on foot with their four-legged companions.
The restaurant has also proved popular with diners online.
Tripadvisor currently lists the Black Swan at 4.4 out of five and describes its food as British, seafood and gastropub cuisine.

Robson Green's love for the Northumberland coast
The Black Swan's celebrity link fits into a much broader story of Green's affection for Northumberland.
During Weekend Escapes, he cycled between Bamburgh and Seahouses and recalled childhood family trips to the coast.
He even said Bamburgh beach could rival beaches in the Caribbean.
For visitors following in his footsteps, the Black Swan provides another reason to stop in Seahouses, combining a historic village pub with a modern seafood-focused restaurant just a short distance from the harbour.
