A site manager in North Yorkshire has won a top national award for his commitment to building high-quality homes.

Ricky Coulter Bell, 32, who oversees the David Wilson Homes Bramble Wood development, was awarded the Seal of Excellence by the National House Building Council (NHBC).

The award follows his earlier success at the Pride in the Job awards earlier this year.

Mr Coulter Bell, who has worked for David Wilson Homes for 15 years, said: "I am honoured to win my very first Seal of Excellence award.

"It is rewarding to be recognised for the quality homes we deliver, and the effort put in by the team to meet a high level of quality standards."

Daniel Smith, managing director at David Wilson Homes Yorkshire East, added: "We’re extremely proud of Ricky and the team at Bramble Wood for achieving a Seal of Excellence award."

The Pride in the Job competition is one of the most rigorous in the industry.
