A WOMAN was taken to hospital with serious injuries after a collision with a car.
Just after 2pm yesterday (Friday), police were called to reports of a road traffic collision at the junction of Toller Lane and Whetley Lane.
A female pedestrian was taken to hospital with serious injuries following a collision with a Seat Leon.
The driver stopped at the scene and has been spoken to by officers.

A spokesperson for the force said: "At 2.19pm yesterday, police were contacted by the ambulance service who had come across a road traffic collision at the junction of Toller Lane and Whetley Lane in Bradford.
"A woman pedestrian had been involved in a collision with a Seat Leon.
"She was taken to hospital for treatment to serious injuries that were not considered life threatening.
"The driver stopped at the scene and has been spoken to by officers."
