A POPULAR 10K race is close to reaching full capacity, with only a limited number of entries remaining.
The Leeds Abbey Dash 2026, taking place on Sunday, November 29, has seen exceptionally high demand since entries opened, with thousands of runners already signed up.
Organisers are urging those hoping to take part to register soon before the event sells out.
Tristan Batley-Kyle, operations director at Run For All, said: "The response to this year's Leeds Abbey Dash has been incredible, with entries being snapped up at an unprecedented rate and only a limited number of places now remaining.
"The event continues to grow in popularity year after year and, with the return of the England Athletics 10K Championship, demand has been higher than ever.
"We're expecting this to be our biggest Abbey Dash yet, so we'd encourage anyone considering taking part to secure their place as soon as possible before entries sell out."
The race attracts runners of all abilities, including elite athletes and those chasing personal bests.
Now in its second year under Run For All, the Abbey Dash continues to honour its long-standing legacy, having been organised by Age UK for nearly four decades.
