Following complaints about large amounts of waste within the property's yard, Durham County Council Neighbourhood Wardens issued a warning and provided the opportunity for the issue to be resolved voluntarily.
Officers later returned to find the waste remained, resulting in a Community Protection Notice being served requiring the land to be cleared within a specified timeframe.
However, the council said that the notice was ignored, no meaningful action was taken, and the council was forced to carry out the clearance works.
