I, and many, many villagers from Bearpark and surrounding villages have been members of Bearpark and District Working Men's Club for many years, myself from the early 1960s.

But it looks like the end is nigh in the near future unless we can find a way to get more people in.

The club is set in a great location with lovely staff and good officials and great views over the Durham area from our rooms.

Unfortunately, it seems like people don't have the same views of going out and having a drink in a good social club like they used to have a good few years ago.
