From towering burgers and fresh pizzas to vegan favourites and gluten-free treats, Casa Rosa is more than a Friday-night takeaway for customers across the North East.
The Birtley business has spent the past 15 years building a reputation for quality food, earning a string of industry accolades along the way, most recently being named Takeaway of the Year at the North East 2026 Local Awards.
Founded by Ilona Mielcarek in 2011, Casa Rosa combines takeaway comfort food with options for a wide range of tastes and dietary needs.

Vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options sit alongside some of its most popular pizzas and burgers, helping it attract customers from well beyond Birtley.
Now, as autumn settles in, the takeaway has unveiled a new seasonal menu packed with fresh additions.
Among the headline arrivals is a gluten-free salt and pepper pizza, loaded with roasted chicken, onions, peppers, jalapeños and, of course, the salt and pepper seasoning that has become embedded in takeaway culture across the North East.
The special was introduced with gluten-free customers in mind, ensuring they can enjoy the latest seasonal offerings alongside everyone else.
Meanwhile, burger lovers can get stuck into the new Crunchy Burger, which pairs a new gherkin-studded burger sauce with crispy onions for an extra layer of crunch.
The new dishes feel like a natural fit for a business that has never stood still.

Over the years, Casa Rosa has continued to evolve its menu while maintaining the quality and customer service that first helped it stand out in a crowded takeaway market.
The takeaway has also become known for its community spirit, supporting local schools, charities and community organisations over the years, helping to create a loyal customer base that has grown alongside the business.
