A NEW scheme has been launched offering 10 per cent cash back at some of the most popular bars in York.
Lloyds Banking Group has launched a new cashback trial which is being trialled in York - offering customers cash back when spending at participating independent businesses.
The scheme connects eligible Lloyds customers with businesses through the bank’s rewards programme, with cashback paid directly into their accounts.

Participating businesses include bars, such as The Clifton, Thor's, and Dusk - plus other independents, including the Durham Ox in Crayke and Chris Sellers Tyres in Scarborough.
Dusk, York business taking part in the trial, said: "We’re excited to be part of this new project because we're all about good times without spending a fortune.
"Even better when it helps support York's independent businesses too."
Ruchir Rodrigues, managing director of business and innovation banking at Lloyds, said: "Independent businesses are at the heart of thriving local economies.
"This initiative brings together Lloyds’ personal and business customers to help York businesses reach new customers and grow, while rewarding people for shopping locally.
"The trial gives Lloyds business customers another way to raise their visibility and connect with Lloyds consumers through their Lloyds mobile banking app, while helping us understand how we can support local businesses to grow."
York and Exeter are the first two cities in the UK to pilot the scheme.
