A sex offender who exposed himself on a bus travelling along the North Yorkshire coast is subject to court controls on his behaviour in public.
Callum Hinchcliff, 31, is also subject to a 12-week prison sentence suspended for 12 months on condition he does 20 days’ rehabilitative activities.
The 31-year-old of Walnut Close, Whinmoor, Leeds, denied a charge of indecent exposure on a bus in Filey on May 2 but was convicted at trial at York Magistrates’ Court.
When he was sentenced, the same court imposed a sexual harm prevention order banning him from making intimidatory, offensive, or sexual gestures, actions or motions or exhibiting any sexual behaviour at all toward any other person.
It also banned him from engaging in any sexualised behaviour in a public place or in the company of any person who does not expressly consent to the behaviour.

If he breaks either of the conditions he could be jailed for up to five years.
The order lasts for seven years, the same length of time as he will be on the sex offenders’ register.
He must also pay £650 prosecution costs and a £154 statutory surcharge.
