Runners taking part in this year’s Altra Yorkshire Marathon are being offered 10 per cent off spa treatments.
The Grand, York is offering the discount at its SubRosa spa to anyone who presents a finisher’s medal.
This offer is valid until November 30.
Adam Dyke, general manager at The Grand, York, said: "Running 5K every day is as much about consistency as fitness, and that's something hospitality teaches you.
"You show up and deliver even when it's tough.
"I've spent my whole career in this industry, so Hospitality Action is close to my heart, and if the money I raise helps even one person through a difficult time, I'll be very happy with what this has achieved.
"Nobody understands showing up when it's tough better than a marathon runner.
"When they cross that finish line, we want them to know The Grand is ready to look after them."
Mr Dyke is running 5km every day throughout October to raise funds for Hospitality Action, a charity supporting workers in the hospitality industry.
The full marathon, along with a 10-mile race and team relays, will take place on October 18, attracting runners and supporters from across the country.
