A road in Wilberfoss will close for a day to allow for maintenance work.
Bolton Lane will be shut to all through traffic on November 6, 2026 from 8am to 4pm.
East Riding of Yorkshire Council said the closure is needed to allow patching work to be carried out safely.
The closure will be in place from the junction with the A1079 Hull Road to the junction with Newbridge Lane, Yapham.
The council has provided an alternative route for affected traffic, which includes Newbridge Lane, Yapham, Sand Lane, Wilberfoss, A1079 Hull Road, and Bolton Lane, passing through Newton Upon Derwent CP, Wilberfoss CP, Fangfoss CP, Pocklington Provincial Ward, and Wolds Weighton Ward.

The road will be closed to all through traffic, but access will remain for residents, emergency vehicles, and pedestrians.
The order will be in force for up to 18 months, though the council expects the work to be completed within a day.
