NEW table tennis sessions are helping people with Parkinson’s stay active and connected.

Keighley Table Tennis Centre is running the inclusive sessions every Tuesday, led by professional coach Steve Rowe, who has more than 47 years of experience.

Rowe said: "The sessions are designed irrespective of whether you are an early diagnoses or existing Parkinson sufferer.

"We include warm-ups, fun bat-and-ball activities and plenty of time at the table."

The sessions aim to support movement, balance, coordination and confidence, alongside the important benefits of friendship and social inclusion.

Rowe added: "Everything is delivered in a friendly, supportive and enjoyable way.

"No previous table tennis experience is needed, and carers are very welcome to come along and join in."

Carers are encouraged to participate alongside attendees.
