A North East recruitment and executive search firm is celebrating a record-breaking run after posting double-digit growth and edging towards £10m in annual revenues.
Nigel Wright Group’s northern business has increased turnover by 13 per cent since May, compared with the same period last year.
The company has posted record figures in 10 of the past 11 months, taking 12-month revenues close to £10 million for the first time.
Mark Simpson, executive director at Nigel Wright Group, said: "The North has a varied and resilient economy, so as organisations grow and adapt, it’s important they have partners that understand differing regional markets and can provide the advice and services they need to scale at pace.
"That’s why our consultants are specialists, combining deep regional insight, sector knowledge, and discipline expertise to help clients to make confident hiring decisions."
Net fee income rose 14 per cent to £8.8 million in the company’s last full financial year, while executive-search activity nearly doubled.
The North East-founded group has expanded across northern England, opening offices in Leeds and Manchester.
Revenue at the two offices has risen 46 per cent in a year, helped by the recruitment of experienced consultants.
Mr Simpson said: "This has helped us achieve some of our strongest growth figures to date, with our Manchester and Leeds offices helping to expand our reach across the North."
Nigel Wright Group has also expanded overseas.
The company began operating in the US in 2023, where turnover has quadrupled in the past year.
