Filming for a new Netflix series is set to return to Scarborough next week.
Crews will be in town for the six-part series Tales of the Unexpected, based on Roald Dahl’s work.
Produced by Netflix, the show features a notable cast including Nicola Coughlan, Naomi Scott, Imelda Staunton, Dominic West, Toby Jones, Carmen Ejogo, Michael Socha, Christine Tremarco, Josh Finan, and Clarke Peters.
The series is known for its dark humour, crime, horror, and twist endings, with the original 1979 collection featuring 16 short stories.
Filming will impact William Street car park, where parking will be suspended from 1am on Monday 19 October until 11pm on Wednesday 21 October.
All 50 spaces nearest The Street will be coned off during this period.
While exact filming times are not currently known, the parking suspension indicates when the production will be using the location.
