Roaring start for new soft play centre near York

A newly-opened soft play centre in Pocklington is enjoying a roaring start.
Aaron and Megan Murray launched Roaring Rascals last Saturday in Unit 4, Windsor Court on the Pocklington Industrial Estate.
Megan says the idea for the business came from her husband having a “3am thought”.
The mum-of-four told the Press: “We noticed we were lacking this type of facility in the area and Pocklington is growing so rapidly.”

“We decided to take the leap and do it. It’s been going amazing.”

Before starting Roaring Rascals, Megan was a stay at home mum who also did the bookkeeping for Aaron’s car repair business, which will continue.

The soft play centre offers a soft play zone with a range of safe, colourful obstacles for children to climb and crawl through.

There is also a café offering coffees and a range of food.
The venue can also host themes parties.
Customer reaction is proving highly positive, with Aaron and Megan thanking customers for their “amazing” support.

One customer posted on the Roaring Rascals Facebook page: “Wow! We visited this morning. What can I say, huge congrats to Aaron and Meg, it’s just amazing.
“Ava absolutely loved every minute while I sat and watched her drinking my cappuccino perfectly made by Aaron. Anyone who’s thinking of booking, you won’t be disappointed. A lot of thought, care, and attention has been put into it. Highly recommended.”

Another customer commented: “Just been today. It’s amazing and the staff are so friendly. Great value for money. Jessica did not want to leave. We will definitely be back.”
And another customer added: “Came today and the little ones loved it and so did we. Well done guys. We will be back very soon.”
