A hotel group has completed a major upgrade across its Yorkshire properties.
Cedar Court Hotels has invested £10 million over six years in a transformation programme designed to revitalise its Harrogate hotel, alongside improvements at its Bradford and Huddersfield sites.
The investment has funded comprehensive upgrades, including fully refurbished bedrooms, redesigned public areas, enhanced meeting spaces, and repurposed leisure facilities.
Wayne Topley, managing director of Cedar Court Hotels, said: "This programme has been about a lot more than modernising our spaces.

"We’ve taken a six-year look at what Cedar Court needs to be for the next generation of guests, our teams, and the communities we operate in."

At Cedar Court Harrogate, the improvements include the launch of Amber’s Restaurant, which aims to serve both hotel guests and the wider community.
Sustainability has been a key focus of the investment, with around £750,000 spent on solar panels. Energy sensors, more efficient hot and cold water systems and improved waste management have also been introduced to reduce environmental impact.
Mr Topley said: "We’re proud to have made that investment here in Yorkshire.
"Cedar Court has been part of the county’s hospitality space for more than 25 years, and this is about securing its place here for decades to come."

The impact has already been recognised in guest feedback, with Cedar Court Harrogate and Cedar Court Huddersfield earning Tripadvisor’s Travellers’ Choice Awards in January 2026.
This places them among the top 10 per cent of hospitality businesses worldwide, based on guest reviews and ratings from the previous year.
The group’s continued investment supports not just guests but the wider Yorkshire economy, creating opportunities for local businesses and communities.
Plans are already underway for further bedroom upgrades and the conversion of underused meeting spaces into flexible leased accommodation for nearby businesses.
Mr Topley said: "While completing this programme is an important moment for Cedar Court, it isn’t the finish line.
"We’re continuing to invest, continuing to improve, and continuing to look at how our hotels can play a bigger role in the communities around them."
