A Halloween party is bringing a touch of Ibiza clubbing to the North East, with a daytime twist.
The Daytime Dead Disco is coming to Times Square on Saturday, October 31, running from 3pm to 10pm and promising a full night out without the need for late-night stamina.
Open to guests aged 25 and over, the event will feature TV presenter and DJ Gok Wan on the decks, alongside Ministry of Sound’s Ellie Sax Live.
Other performers include Mark Hutchinson of Restoration and Brodie of Alto and Platform47.
Attendees are encouraged to dress up in Halloween costumes, with the best outfit winning a £100 bar tab.
The event is organised by EVNT Live, the sister company of EVNT Inspiration, which is behind events such as Oktoberfest, Paddy Fest, and Newcastle’s Christmas Village.

Mike Hesketh of EVNT Live, the organiser of the event, said: "This is an event not to be missed by anyone who remembers those incredible days in Ibiza and Newcastle’s legendary superclub scene."
"It’s going to be a huge production experience with big-name DJs, which will recreate a time that so many people have great memories of.
"The good news is that everyone who comes along can recreate what was likely to be the best days of their lives – but without needing the stamina they had in the past to keep going into the early hours of morning!"
Tickets are available from £17.50, and more information can be found at evntlive.co.uk.
