A Bradford bank has been ranked the worst in Yorkshire and the Humber after customers reported long waits.
The Santander at The Broadway shopping centre received an average Google rating of 2.53 stars from 64 reviews.
It topped a list of the region’s lowest-rated bank branches, based on an analysis of customer reviews.
Customers complain of long waits and poor service
Researchers found 37 of the branch’s 64 reviews were one-star ratings.
Customers frequently mentioned lengthy waits and problems accessing services in person.
One reviewer said: “Every time I come to this branch, minimum at least 40-45 mins to go on counter where just one staff serving!"
Another said, "I'm shocked at the rudeness of the call handler customer service"
Bradford appeared twice more in the region’s bottom 10 branches.
NatWest on Market Street was ranked seventh, with a rating of 2.75 stars.
Lloyds Bank on Hustlergate was eighth, with a rating of 2.80 stars.
2 banks in Bradford rank high
The ranking was compiled by financial assistance website SingleMothersGrants.org.
It examined 849 bank and building society branches across the UK.
Only branches with at least 50 Google reviews were included in the research.
Bradford also had two branches among Yorkshire’s highest-rated locations.
HSBC on Market Street ranked fifth in the region, with an average rating of 4.57 stars.
Barclays on Market Street came seventh, with a rating of 4.53 stars.

Santander responds to worst-rated branch ranking
When approached for comment, a Santander UK spokesperson said: “We are committed to providing a good experience for our customers whenever they visit one of our branches.
“While online review sites reflect the views of individual customers, they are based on a relatively small number of reviews and may not be representative of the experience of the millions of customers who use our services each year.
“We continue to invest in our branch network and remain focused on providing customers with the support they need, whether in person, over the phone or through our digital services.”

Dawn Yates, a financial assistance expert at the organisation, said the findings raised concerns about the effect of long waits on customers.
She said this could be a particular issue for parents and people unable to use online services.
Financial assistance expert Dawn Yates said: “Waiting 45 minutes and then being told to go online is hard on anyone, and harder with children in tow.”
