A POWERFUL stage drama exploring the impact of child abduction is set to be performed this autumn.
Frozen, written by Bryony Lavery and directed by Shipley-based Abbe Robinson, will run at Bingley Little Theatre from Monday, October 26 to Saturday, October 31.
The play tells the story of a 10-year-old girl who goes missing on her way to her grandmother’s house, and the emotional aftermath experienced by her mother, the man responsible, and a psychologist.
Ms Robinson said: "Frozen is a powerful drama with big themes to explore; abuse, grief, loss, guilt, remorse and forgiveness."
A signed performance will take place on Tuesday, October 27 at 7.30pm.
Ms Robinson has a strong background in the arts, having served as artistic director and producer of Light Night Leeds for nine years.
