A popular Italian restaurant in County Durham will reopen its doors in hours, after being forced to close earlier this year.
Antico Birtley, located at The Board Inn on Penshaw View in Chester-Le-Street, has announced it will welcome customers back from Thursday, October 15.
The restaurant closed in June after technical problems linked to planned upgrades left it unable to operate normally.
At the time, a statement said: "Due to technical issues relating to planned upgrades that are beyond our control, Antico Birtley at The Board Inn is temporarily closed."
The closure came as a disappointment to many regular diners, who have since been eagerly awaiting news of the restaurant's return.
Now, after several months away, the team has confirmed it is preparing to reopen.

Announcing the news on social media, Antico Birtley said: "We've missed you, and we're absolutely delighted to announce that Antico Birtley at The Board Inn is reopening on Thursday 15th October.
"After some time away, we can't wait to open our doors again, welcome back all our familiar faces, and hopefully meet plenty of new ones along the way.
"To all our loyal customers, thank you for your patience and continued support. It really does mean a lot to us."
The restaurant promised "the Italian food you love, a warm and friendly atmosphere, and plenty of good times around the table" as part of its "fresh new beginning".
The reopening announcement prompted an outpouring of support from customers.
One diner wrote: "OMG this has made my day, I was having a right old rant this morning about you guys still being closed.
"I'm missing your lasagne, it's the best in the world."
Another said: "Brilliant news, you have been sorely missed."
A third added: "So, so pleased to see this fabulous place reopening! Yes!"
